Mission Statement

Bethany Christian Academy is a program committed to a linking-learning approach to education. We understand that going from the known to the unknown provides a basis for new learning experiences. Our classrooms have many opportunities for hands-on education while still providing structure and high expectations. We believe every child should be the best they can be. It’s our job to equip them for that goal.

A special aspect of our school is the prevailing attitude of love, inspired by God’s love for us. BCA desires to prepare students for success in a world that needs people of integrity.

Statement of Faith

A. BIBLE: We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. The Bible is God’s instruction book for life.

B. GOD: We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

C. JESUS: We believe that Jesus Christ is God Himself and that He came to earth in the flesh, was born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life. He died a substitutionary and atoning death on the cross. He arose bodily from the grave and ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of God. We believe that He will return to this earth in the future.

D. MAN: We believe that God created man in His own image and that man, being descended from Adam, inherited a sinful nature and is totally unable to save himself from the natural consequences of sin.

E. SALVATION & ETERNAL LIFE: We believe that men and women are saved from sin through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation and subsequent eternal life is a gift of God received personally through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Eternal life is neither deserved by anyone, nor can it be earned by good deeds.

History & Higher Education

With each passing year we grow more excited about continuing our excellent tradition of providing an atmosphere where learning happens naturally.

BCA’s preschool program began in 1991 and continues to flourish. In 1992 the kindergarten was incorporated. With increased staff and expanded vision, 1993 ignited our program for grades one through six. Grades seven and eight were added in 1994, and the senior high program the following year. With each passing year we grow more excited about continuing our excellent tradition of providing an atmosphere where learning happens naturally.

BCA has continued to flourish into a school for all ages. Since the first senior high graduation in 1999, many students have continued with higher education and ministry opportunities.
