Athletic Kick-Off

Dear Parents,
I hope everyone is having a safe and enjoyable fall. Welcome to the new BCA Athletic Kickoff Center where I can now post all relevant information for this years sports programs. The school year is in full swing and that means it is time to get everything in order for our Basketball & Volleyball season! This year we will have a Boys Varsity, Girls varsity and Boys Middle School team for basketball and a Girls Varsity Volleyball program. If your son or daughter wishes to play sports at BCA they must maintain AT LEAST a 2.0 GPA in their core classes.

Below Is A List Of The Next Steps To Ensure Your Athletes Eligibility To Play!

1. COMPLETE ATHLETIC FORMS

Fill out and return the Accident-Injury Permission Form by the first official practice.

2. MAKE ATHLETIC FEE PAYMENT

Pay the Athletic fee of $150 by the first home regular season game. If fees are not received by the first game athletes will not be allowed to play.

3. DOES YOUR ATHLETE NEED A PHYSICAL?

It can be a real pain to get a physical scheduled last minute, don’t let this happen to you again! You must have a current physical on file to ensure you don’t miss any practice or game opportunities. Physicals received during or after last year’s Basketball season will be sufficient for this year’s Basketball season.

4. REVIEW THE ATHLETIC HANDBOOK

All athletes and parents MUST review the athletic handbook before the first practice of the season. This ensures we are all on the same page before the commencement of our sport seasons and what we expect of the student and the parents, and also will inform you of what you can expect from our program and its coaches.

Once you have that those 4 easy steps taken care of your athlete will be ready to go! On our site you will be able to find current practice and game schedules are attached. Additional copies of forms, handbooks and schedules can be printed from our website and are available here at the school. We also have blank physical forms at the office if your doctor needs one.

Again we are excited about the sports programs and encourage all of our parents to support their athletes by joining us for home games to cheer them on.
